前立腺癌に対する世界の樹状細胞療法

前立腺癌は樹状細胞療法の臨床試験が最も進んでいる疾患の1 つである。前立腺癌では既に腫瘍抗原の同定が進んでおり、Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) やPSM-P1、PSM-P2などを用いて多くの臨床試験が行われている。また、腫瘍ライセートやGM-CSF とhuman prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP)との融合タンパクを抗原として用いる臨床試験も行われている。

臨床効果：

Lodgeらによる報告では、PSM-1,2のペプチドを癌抗原として使用し樹状細胞療法を行った結果、41症例中、CR2例、PR12例、SD6例と、Clinical benefitとして約50％の効果が認められたと報告している4）。一方、腫瘍ライセートを用いた樹状細胞療法であるが、Pandha Hらの報告によると、11症例中、SD4例と、36％のclinical benefitと認めている。臨床試験に参加している患者は、主に標準治療またはホルモン治療に無効であったことを考慮すると、前立腺癌に対する樹状細胞療法の有用性が伺われる。
